I really like scenery pictures, such images of the beach or sunset. I like using contrast and colour to make my picture or painting more appealing. These are the techniques I use when I create a painting, and that has influence my style for photography. One of the picture that really stands out in my mind was taken at a beach, when the sun was setting. The waves were crashing onto the beach, and they were purple and red, reflecting the colour of the sky. The picture was taken from a diagonal angle, so it looked like the beach slowly expands and finally merges with the sky. I hope to learn more techniques that would make the pictures we take look more professional and hope you could teach us the skills to capture memorable moments.

This picture is a scenery picture. I like the hot pink in the background; that was what attracted my attention. The pink contrasts with the yellow moon. The tree kind of blocks the moon, making the moon look more distant, but the actual focus of the image is still on the moon.
